Bamboo Scratching?

Just checking. I'm afraid to use them with utensils. Has anyone had a problem with sctaching when using metal serving pieces, spreaders, etc?
I want to get rid of my bamboo phobia.

I have not noticed any problems, but I think I tend to use the bamboo utenils with it.
