When I was making dinner tonight, I used the Grill Pan to grill my shrimp (turn out awesome!). When I removed the shrimp, the pan was smoking a bit so I removed it from the burner and set it on the counter... normally I put it on a trivet/hot pad or oven pad. Not thinking, I set it on a microfiber towel. The microfiber towel melted and stuck to the bottom of the grill pan.
Any ideas on how to get it off? I ripped the towel pulling it off, and now the pan has little melted beads and parts of towel stuck to it.
HELP!!!!???!!!!

This is going to sound bazaar but do you think heating it... possibly upsidedown over the burner.. holding it up... would soften those "bits" enough to bet them off? Just thinking outlould and wondering...

hmm....my husband just suggested putting it on top of your outside grill and letting the pieces burn off.
You would probably have to make sure that the temp didn't go over 400 degrees.

Thanks ladies! I thought of heating it as well... I will see. I don't have a grill so the oven will have to do. That will be a project for later this week. I'm hosting a dinner party tonight. Thankfully I didn't plan to use the pan! :)

Good luck Colleen! I don't have any other bright ideas but hopefully heating it will work.
