I still want 1-2 more early December bookings- so in my customer newsletter I am offering the Trifle Bowl for free is they have an in home show of $500 or more in guest sales. I'll gladly make a little less to get a couple more quality shows. hopefully I'll get some bites. I only have 2 more shows this month and two book shows to go.

That's a great idea (everyone loves that bowl...some customers have even bought two.)

I have only two December shows scheduled, both for the first week (we depart here on the 8th). The movers are packing up our stuff the week after Thanksgiving, so my team (and hosts!) are helping me out. One show is a Secret Santa Show for husbands only and the other is for a gal who went to cooking school (no initimidation there )

Attached is the flyer I made for the Secret Santa Show. I got the idea from a flyer my HD made...which she modified from someone else...who probably modified from someone else too. (I just love how we share!)

How are you getting these to the husbands?

The host passed them out. (We're not allowed to mail invitations here.) Most of the couples attend a bible study together, so they see each other fairly often.

OK Leggy, explain please what you plan to do at this show for the hubby's...I have found in the past that men don't like to gather like women, so what are you inticing them with??
I love the idea, and I think I could do this with an email to my past hosts~have them pass it along to their hubby's and friends hubby's!

The truthful answer is I haven't figured that out yet (I'm really approaching everything day by day right now...not a good way to do business I know, but how it is). The host and I plan to talk tomorrow...so it may be that he got a negative response when he shared the flyers (though I think he or his wife would have emailed me by now).

{okay, need to keep upbeat!} The 'bribe' to get the men there is the chocolate buffet...but I'll probably approach it as an actual group cooking thing. I hate to speak in generalities, but most men like having a couple signature dishes. What I'm thinking is that they will make the chocolate goodies. (Maybe they will need to use the APCS to make an apple tart as well...since not everyone likes chocolate {okay, I'm making that last part up}. I'm winging it here. Will keep you posted.

Attached is another version of the Secret Santa that I got from my HD. You can take it to your shows and offer it to the guests along with an envelope. They can mail you there completed wish list....or however you'd like to do it.
