Here is the link: https://www.pamperedchef.com/images/cc/us/pdf/feb08_cn_es_us.pdf Thought you'd like to see the pictures. :) Debbie's friend Clementina made the cover in the new product room. My picture was taken while I gave my workshop on recruiting. One of my consultants is featured on page 3 too (excited about that!)

Debbie..... Heeelloooo Debbie... Calling Debbie... :)

Just had our Director call with Home office and to my surprise they announced a "Special" announcement for March 1st. Well, Well, Well... :)

I sent Clementina a private message telling her to come clean and ofcourse she is not even claiming to know a Debbie. LOL

It was just for the Hispanic Market Directors, there were only 5 of us on the call. :) All they said was that the e-mail would go out to EVERYONE on March 1st. Someone brought up that that was a Saturday so they said that maybe it would be on the third then, unless they go with FEb. 29.

oooooo....I hope they go with the 29th since it is a leap year and it would be March 1 if it weren't! I am so bad at waiting for surprises.....

Sorry, we had our team meeting tonight.

I do not know what the surprise is. Serious. There was something on a flyer about more March rewards coming....so there is a tease out there. I don't know what it is and that is the truth. I really really can't say anything else cuz I don't know if I'm allowed to and I don't want the HO folks reading this to be mad at me. They never told me if I had to keep my news a secret or not and so I'd rather just wait.

I'm so sorry!!!!!

Out of curiosity, how many Hispanic Directors are there in the company? Do you know?

No problem Deb! I hate the suspense but learned a lesson finding out something before I should have... a few years ago our TEAM had been session 3 three years in a row for NC. I couldn't stand it and a friend of mine who was session 1 told me everything. I can tell you that Conference was a total bummer that year and so uninspiring for me. And it was all because I already knew everything so there was no excitement. I will never make that mistake again!

And it is exciting enough for me to know that something is coming up!

I agree with Colleen. Funny how we thing we want to know everything, especially when it comes to new products but that so takes the excitement out of it. Okay, I will wait patiently.

leggy LOL That's it, we are about 7 or 8 at any given time. Starting Jan 08 they were going allow BILINGUAL consultants the opportunity to switch to the Hispanic Market, that was going to potentially give us a 1,900 increase in consultants. Not sure how many Directors that would mean, so far only one from Texas took the offer. Maybe in the coming months we will see a little more growth.

I use the low # of Directors and the fact that I'm the ONLY Hispanic Market Director in all of LA (that's HUGE) for recruiting. I tell them pretty soon you will throw a rock and hit a PC consultant and how this is the BEST time to join before the boom. :)

I'm afraid I'm totally lost. Is there a distinction? Wouldn't any bilingual director qualify to serve both markets? Why wouldn't a director do both?

Part of the reason I am asking, is I have a great gal on my team. For now she is content to simply maintain active status (works full-time, is a mother and a spouse, and is finishing up her MBA). She is toying with the idea of doing more with her business next year. She is a potential dynamo who excells in everything she does. I would love to share more with her about Hispanic Market-specific opportunities within the company.

You can absolutely work both markets. Before when you signed up Spanish (Spanish Website) and put down that you also spoke English you were automatically signed up as a Hispanic Market Consultant. If you signed up on the English site and checked that you also spoke Spanish you would still be an English market consultant. Now if you do the latter you can opt to be a part of the Hispanic Market. The benefit of it is the fact that we are soooo small and PC is investing in growing this market. If you are a dynamo you get noticed and you get more of a one on one. We have director calls with HO every single month, sometimes we get special promotions to recruit and grow. Nothing huge but extra little things, like getting a 5 pack of Your Life your way DVD's, catalogs for reaching certain goals. etc. Right now there is New Consultant academy, if you complete it you get a certificate and are entered into a raffle. Things like that. If your recruit is interested she may choose to join the Hispanic Market and get that one on one HO contact in Spanish, it's great if that is her native language I find.

I forgot to mention... there WAS a hint on our Director call that day. They said that the ones to get the most benefit out of this "news" would be Directors. That's US... Whoohooo!

Oh, I want to know, I want to know! :) Usually I can be very patient and wait for all the news (the years I've been in Wave 3 at conference, I've patiently waited.....I'm wave 3 this year too :(), BUT for some reason I can't wait to find out this news. I don't know why I'm so impatient!! Would we find out when the CN becomes available for directors online??

I met Duska at leadership we were at the same table for the Dinner the second night. She was very nice! There was another upper level Director there too, her story was very inspiring, she started out trying to earn just $300 a month and now makes around $5,000 a month. Awesome! She was HO lead but the Director thought she had too many questions and was too much work. She was then referred to Barbara Duke. :)

Can you imagine missing out on someone like that??? :bugeye:

I met Duska in Vienna and we have vacationed and roomed together ever since. When we went to Vienna, we were both Directors who didn't earn TPC. I didn't earn because I had my son Peyton in APril and I missed it by $3000 in sales. And Duska didn't earn it because she had started to kick up her business too late in the TPC year!

And now...I am still a Director:cry:...yes I have earned TPC but Ms. Duska is COH and AMAZING:love0010:!! I just feel blessed to be able to learn from her! She is amazing!! She is the reason why I earned Level 4 this year!! She teased me saying that she wouldn't travel with me if I only earned Level 3 and I of course really wanted Level 4! She called me the last two weeks to check in and get my butt in gear!! And of course I made it...but I am sad to say that Duska won't be in London with me as we had planned because Todd, her husband, has an important exam that he can't miss during the trip!!:cry: Todd told Duska to ask my husband and I to go to DC with them...and I told her I thought about it for 2 seconds...but I can't pass up London especially when i worked so hard for the top level! But we are planning on going to Paris next year together!

And now Duska is threatening to not hang out with me unless I become an upper level!!;) She is just joking of course...but I need that fire under my butt and it is working so far!!! :)

That is great! Thanks for sharing! When you know someone you truely admire setting the pace and cheering you on it gives you that extra push because they are proof it can be done. I came back telling my team all about sitting at that table with super achievers.

Congrats on earning Level 4! :)
