I just got back from vacation and am trying to catch up. What are some of the best and any not so great? Any stunners?

We made the Moroccan Chicken Pita Wedges last night at our meeting. They were to DIE for! We were so surprised! The new Moroccan rub is NOT what I expected at all, it's not spicy, just really yummy!! We all agreed we'd chop the chicken with the chopper, though, not just dice it.

We have our meeting tonight and I made the Greek Cheese Torta and others on my team are making: Summer Berry Shortcakes, One Pot Creamy Pasta, Morrocan CHicken Pitas and the Chicken, Avocado & Grapefruit salad.
I'll post our thoughts this week!
I made the Chicken, Avocado & Grapefruit salad tonight and I wasn't impressed at all. The cashews were the best part! LOL! I don't particularly care for grapefruit so I may not have been a good judge.
The new trifle in the SB is AWESOME!! And I like the Greek Torta.

I love that Pina Colada Upside Down Cake. Yum!! I want to do it at a show.
I just made up my own recipe using that Greek Seasoning (which is AWESOME by the way!). Does everyone remember those pinwheels we did a few years ago (Parmesan Rosemary Pinwheels). Well, I had the thought to make one up using the greek seasoning. I just did these tonight at the Power Cooking Show I held at my house. Mix 1/2 block of cream cheese (4 oz) with about 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup of crumbled feta cheese. I added 1 tsp to 1 1/2 tsp of the greek seasoning and mixed it up. I unrolled a tube of crescent roll dough and pinched all the seams and rolled it a little thinner. I spread the cream cheese mixture on it, rolled it up and sliced it into little pinwheels. I baked it at 375 for about 15-17 minutes and they were awesome!!! Yum!!! I highly recommend it and it would be a great 2nd recipe if you just wanted to do something extra and you can show off the seasoning.:chef:

The Strawberry Cream Trifle is SOOO yummy. Just had a $1k show making it. :)
The Greek Cheese Torta is good, but HUGE. Can be halved and made in a SA Small Bowl.
I made the Casbah Chix for my family--DH liked it, 4 yo DS not so much...
Cheeseburger Salad is surprisingly good!

I really like the Chicken Tortilla Casserole. I've made it with the boneless skinless thighs and boneless/skinless breasts. I really like having a new recipe for the baker, it's my booking tool!;)

I made that last week, too and it was great!! Did you do it in the Deep Covered Baker? I wondered if it would work in there. I seem to remember there might have been a mention of that on CS.

yes, I use the DCB. And I think I'll keep to using the white meat, but that's just a personal preference for our family. My 4yo DS even likes it!:approve:

So I did the Greek Cheese Torta for my meeting last night. It was a big hit. I used 2 SA bowls instead of the Small Batter Bowl as suggested and used one of them. There was plenty and it was a huge hit. I have a neighborhood gathering tonight and am bringing the other 1/2 to that. I pretoasted all the bread and just stored in a plastic bag. This would be a great to make ahead and bring to a show. Plus when we have back to back shows you can do what I did and split the recipe between both shows.
