Now that double points is over, how did everyone do?
I was looking at the "on-track" guide and as a Director going for Level 3, I should have 12,222 points by the end of February...proud to say I am at almost 14,000!

I have 10488. I had hoped for more, but had some cancellations the first two weeks of this month. I do still have 4 shows to go in Feb......too bad they weren't before the 14th! I do have a new consultant about to qualify so that'll be another 2000 points and two more consultants that just signed in the last 10 days. :) Those points will come in very handy. This sign on promo with the knives is GREAT because they're motivated to qualify within 30 days to get them. I have one more hopefully signing today...we met Wednesday and said she was going to sign! Yay!
If I am going to earn Paris like I hope to, I need to recruit my butt off!:D

WHOOOOOOO
let us know how you make out
As of right now, I'm at 12,300. I think I planned much better this year for the double point month and it has paid off.
I also recently realized I've had 7 recruits qualify since last Jun. If I can get 8 more, I'll get my ring at Conference! I'm trying to find the best way to make it happen! How amazing would it be to get TPC at 2 1/2 years in the business?!

Not so hot on points since I was having health issues the latter part of January, so that's okay. After I clear up this show on hold I'll have about 7500 I think. But I also have 2 recruits about to qualify, so another 4000 coming my way. I'll just make up the points I need in recruiting. :):):)

I am at 18251 right now. I have two recruits that should qualify this month and I have 4 more Feb. Shows, so hoping to earn level #1 by the end of this month.
I need to earn Miami by the end of September due to some personal scheduling at the end of the year, so hopefully this will make it easy to accomplish!

Right now I have 23,800:) points with 6 more February shows and 2 more recruits who just signed! It was a great double points months for me!:party:
I griped when I found out they were splitting :grumpy:it between January and February...but after I was done griping I got on the phone and got as many bookings as I could. I had 2 snow cancelations and I am hoping to get them back on the books for March!:)

:eek::eek:MARLENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanna be you when I grow up!
Actually, I am very proud of myself for what I did do this year so far.....can you believe that last January, I had $181 in commissionable sales?????
I did a much better job this year motivating myself and planning for the double points. Ya know what has motivated me the most??? I was #3 in sales for my Director's cluster last year....not #1, or even #2, but 3#!!!!!!!!! I wasn't even the top seller in my own cluster! That burned my butt and I decided I would NEVER let either happen again! I hung the certificate she gave me where I see it everyday-on the fridge-and it continues to make me mad at myself and in turn, I get on the phone!
My Director let it slip that I was the only one that really did much in sales in January, so I know I am her top seller, and I plan to continue that trend for 2008.....and beyond (sorry, had a little Buzz Lightyear moment there!):)

Holy cow!!! MArlene!! I need some of you to rub off on me -- especially since we were walking buddies when we promoted to director!! You're ON FIRE! I saw on some other thread (here or on CS, I can't remember) where you send out invites and buy ingredients for hosts, right? Hmmmm, maybe I need to start doing that! I have pretty good show totals, but I just would love MORE of them and bookings closer in, so maybe this is the route to go. How do you present it to your hosts that you'll be asking for a $25 reimbursement from them?
Sorry for the hijack....I'm just so impressed!!!
I'm also pretty excited with my January...... it was $4330....last year I had about $900. I just wish I could have had the same results the first 2 weeks of February!!
GREAT JOB everyone!!!:D

My goal was to be at 15k in points at the end of Feb... looks like I'll end up with about 13k so I'm very happy with that! :)

Hijacker!!! Shame on you!!
Way to go on your FAB January!! WHOO HOOO BECKY!!!
I too had the highest January in my career yet. I had $4417 for the month, my highest before that was $3000 or so. And have over that already for February! :money:I'm in the money...I'm in the money!!:money:
So anywho...I started mailing the invitations about 2 years ago, but last year was the first year I started buying the groceries as well. I got tired of stressing out about getting to my host's house in enough time to prep all of my ingredients :bugeye:AND mostly got tired of getting to my host's house and find out she bought the wrong ingredients!!!:grumpy:
When I have someone book a show with me and when I bring up bookings at a show I tell them that I will mail their invitations and do their grocery shopping for them!! I then say how I like to make my host's job as easy as possible. Then when I am talking one on one with someone I explain that I charge a flat fee of $25 for the recipe ingredients and for invitations. And that is it!!:D I just put it out there, and have had no one complain yet! I am just straight forward that this is what I do for every show...so I don't give them any other option. And many hosts that had hosted for me before and other consultants will even comment on how much easier and less stressful their shows are because of this!!
I charge $25 because I have found that with 2 recipes it is between $15-$20 dollars (depending on my month) and I charge $10 for invites no matter who or how many they invite. It is $10.40 for postage for 40 invites and that doesn't include ink, labels and time! So my hosts see this as a deal! And of course I love doing this because I am in CONTROL...he he...:) I am a control freak if you guys haven't guessed it already!!:)
And I have my hosts mail me a check before the show, just because I like to forget that they owe the $$ if I don't do this!!
I am posting my guest list and guest list letter that explain how I charge. I give these to every host!! HTH

Wow, you are all doing great!
I am at 17,300 points with 7 shows in Feb to go. I am including my new recruit's points, since she is my best friend and I KNOW she is lined up to qualify quickly!
I wanted to make 20,000 by the end of the month, to keep on track for Level 3. Hey, last year I missed TPC by 3000 points...maybe I can make that, too...I have 12 shows in March and 4 in April so far (one in May and one in June).
Let's go, girls!
