I am working on ideas for t-shirts for my team. The plan is that I will purchase the shirt for anyone who is going to conference with me but the others can purchase one too if they want.
They will be baseball type raglan sleeve t-shirts (the sleeves will be cranberry and the front and back of the shirt white) and we will each have our name on the back and the number that corresponds with when they joined my team. I am number 1 since I am the first one on my team and the 10th person to join the team will be number 10. I decided to use first names.
I have attached pics of the two versions I am trying to decide between. Please give me some feedback as to which looks better. I am getting a sample shirt done TOMORROW so I need to decide by then. I may not have these same people make the shirts (I have two other contacts that I will be checking with for pricing) but this is a local place and they were willing to make a sample.
In case anyone can't open the pics here are the choices:

This is just me...but I don't know if I'd want to wear a t-shirt at conference. That said, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this idea. Would your team members go in with you for polo shirts. You could put the logo and the saying where the 'aligator' usually goes....then they could also wear these to shows.
(Yikes, my inner-preppie is coming out)

I know what you mean but my team are t-shirt wearers and there are lots of them worn at conference - the conference shirt is a t-shirt too as is much of our logo wear from Merrill. So I think that would make them appropriate one day anyway - I'm not sure which day though.
We call ourselves a team so that's where my sons and I came up with the baseball theme. They would be good for fairs and shows or around town. While they don't say Pampered Chef they would be a conversation starter.
I will get pricing for polo shirts too and give my team that option but I know the cost will be higher. They are paying for their own unless they go to conference so I know that not everyone will get them no matter what the price.

I really do think this is a great idea...especially the bit about it being a conversation starter outside of the PC arena. :)

Hi Beth!
I voted for using the title with all words beginning in uppercase.
I do vote against using personal names on shirts. Years ago I was at our version of a subway. I had a shirt on with my name on the back. At one point I heard my name and turned around. There was nobody there I knew. It really creeped me out.

Cute idea! How many of yours tend to go to conference? So far I have 3 on my team going and hoping for more. I'd love to do something like this, but I don't want to steal your idea - especially using the baseball shirt idea. I'm sure there are plenty of other t-shirt ideas though. I'm not sure if they'd even wear them TO anything at conference, but might be kind of cool to wear at other times. What day of conference have you all worn yours? The first day? How are you getting these done?
I voted for the words having the first letter being capitalized. It looks neat! Great idea!

I have 3 that say they are going but 2 of them are waffling. I'm hoping this will put them over...
I have never done t-shirts before. We probably will do day 1 but if we do I will want to wear something else for the director stuff in the morning. Not sure yet.
My son is a graphic designer and we have a company here in town that does shirts and Cindy Posey has a business and my son has a connection so I don't know which I'll go with for the team's shirts.
Thanks for voting.

I decided on the first option and had a sample shirt made. It turned out really nice and she rushed it so I could wear it to Saturday's festival. The only thing is that the fabric was a little thinner than I would have preferred (and the other choice was even thinner). I will see if they or my other sources can get a better thickness for the team shirts. ...I would like everyone to want to wear them.
